Seraph of the End

A mysterious epidemic wipes out all adults, leaving children vulnerable to vampire rule. Four years later, Yūichirō Hyakuya and his companions plan an escape, but they soon discover the dangers lurking beyond the vampires' control.

Four years after escaping captivity, Yūichirō joins the Japanese Army and aspires to become part of the elite vampire-hunting unit, the Moon Demon Company, but his impulsive actions result in disciplinary suspension. When a vampire attacks a local school, he defies orders to confront the threat.

Yūichirō discovers that a classmate has been taken over by a demon and resolves to confront him, hoping both to rescue his friend and to make a pact with the demon for its power. He quickly realizes, however, that overcoming the demon will require more than he anticipated.

Mikaela, Yūichirō's best friend, is turned into a vampire by Krul Tepes, the vampire queen, and becomes her assistant instead of dying with the others. At the same time, Yūichirō starts his training to join the Moon Demon Company.

Krul, concerned about the growing strength of the Human Army, urges the vampires to prepare for war, while Yūichirō and his companions are chosen to pursue a powerful demon weapon, aware of the dangers involved.

Yūichirō and Shihō Kimizuki successfully complete their final test and receive their own Demon Weapons, but their celebration is cut short when Yūichirō's friend Yoichi Saotome becomes possessed by his weapon, forcing the pair to seek a way to save him before it's too late.

Yūichirō and his team welcome a new recruit, Mitsuba Sangū, and are assigned a mission for the Moon Demon Company. During the operation, they encounter a distressed young girl, prompting Yūichirō to disobey orders and attempt a rescue despite warnings of a possible trap.

Yūichirō and his companions travel to Shinjuku to report their success in clearing a vampire nest and rescuing captives, only to arrive as the vampires launch an assault on the human base. They encounter a powerful vampire noble who quickly overwhelms them.

Yūichirō and his allies reach Shinjuku to assist in defending against a vampire attack, while Guren's group encounters Mikaela and Ferid and prepares for confrontation.

Yūichirō and Shinoa become separated from the group and, after tending to a wounded soldier, rejoin Guren's party. The encounter provides an opportunity for Yūichirō to reunite with Mikaela.

Mikaela tries to flee, taking Yūichirō with him, but when Yūichirō witnesses his friends being tormented by vampires, a terrifying power awakens within him, putting everyone in danger. Shinoa intervenes to stop him, but the effort leaves Yūichirō unconscious.

Yu remains in a coma for seven days, during which Shinoa questions Guren about the pills Yu was taking. He urges her to wait for Yu to wake up if she truly cares for him. When Yu finally regains consciousness, he learns that Mika has left with the other vampires. After reuniting with his friends, Yu apologizes and expresses his gratitude, while he and Mika silently vow to save each other.

Shinoa trains with Guren and later discusses vampirism with Yu in the library. Meanwhile, Kureto Hiragi interrogates Kimizuki and Yoichi to uncover information about a vampire spy, then questions Yu. In Sanguinem, Mika struggles with blood hunger, and after refusing Ferid's temptation to drink from a child, he is invited to a Progenitor Council meeting.

Yoichi defeats five of the Horsemen in a single move, while Yu progresses in his training by overcoming Asuramaru in a mental battle through an unexpected act of friendship. At a Progenitor Council meeting, Ferid discusses the Shinjuku battle and shows a video of Yu's transformation, as Krul attempts an attack but deliberately refrains from harming Ferid. Meanwhile, Kimizuki overcomes a difficult battle with Kiseki-o by recalling Yu's bond with Mika, and later joins Yu in demonstrating their new abilities, while Shinoa and Mitsuba discover that the files on the three boys have been erased.

A letter sent via messenger pigeon reaches Aoi Sangu, who forwards it to Kureto Hiragi. Kureto announces his plan to eliminate ten noble vampires in Nagoya before a larger vampire force arrives in Japan, prompting Shinoa Squad to debate their loyalty to Guren Ichinose. Meanwhile, Mika attacks Krul for his blood, later revealing a secret mission to him, and Shinoa receives new orders from Guren after reporting on her squad's training progress.

The Shinoa squad arrives late and quickly understands the gravity of the mission for Guren. Aware of the high stakes and the likely heavy casualties, Guren suppresses his emotions and gives orders focused on achieving victory rather than ensuring survival.

The Shinoa and Narumi squads unite to eliminate the Fifteenth Progenitor, Lucal Wesker, successfully completing their mission without casualties. However, nine other teams fail in their objectives and are captured as hostages.

The Shinoa squad confronts the harsh reality of losing a comrade and quickly shifts focus to rescuing hostages. Meanwhile, Mika and the vampires arrive in Nagoya.

Guren, Shinoa, and Narumi's squads reach the city hall where hostages are being held, suspecting a trap but choosing to proceed. Despite their resolve, Guren and Shinya find themselves overwhelmed by Crowley, barely managing to evade him.

Shinoa's squad attempts to rescue Guren but fails to reach him in time and decides to retreat. Yu, however, refuses to abandon Guren and takes additional Curse Stimulant Pills to continue the mission alone.

Yu recovers from his injuries through his own experimentation and returns to rescue Guren. However, his reckless efforts nearly turn him into a demon, and Kimizuki intervenes to stop him. As the squad retreats, they run into Mika.

Yu and Mika are reunited, but Mika's severe injuries from battling the Demon Company leave him near death. Yu attempts to save him by offering his own blood, knowing it could transform Mika into a vampire.

The survivors of the Moon Demon Company arrive at their rendezvous point but are ordered to "standby," which angers them as they intend to rescue Guren. Just as they prepare to disobey, Kureto arrives with an alternative plan.

Kureto wields Mirai, Kimizuki's younger sister and a fellow Seraph of the End test subject, as his key advantage. To counter the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, Yu must confront his inner self and unlock the powers of the angel within him.
