Synopsis
The four friends attend a baby shower for Laney in her more conservative Connecticut suburb, prompting reflections on motherhood and personal identity. Carrie contemplates motherhood due to a delayed period, Miranda critiques the expectations of motherhood, and Charlotte worries her dream of marriage and family is fading. Samantha organizes an alternative "no-baby shower" as a counterpoint to the traditional event.
