Synopsis
Alec and Clary clash over their differing approaches to tracking down Valentine, straining their already tense relationship. When Jace and Isabelle are assigned to a mission to the Seelie Court, Alec is tasked with protecting Clary under the orders of his mother, Maryse Lightwood, which proves difficult given Clary's rebellious nature and his own internal conflict between duty and loyalty.
