Sinister Beings

Hui Chun-sum is an elite officer of the Organized and Community Crime Bureau (OCTB), known for his fearlessness and competence. He is highly regarded by his superior and admired by his colleagues. However, his ultimate career goal is to join the Special Duties Unit (SDU). Another OCTB officer, Shum Wai-lik, is also an elite officer, characterized by a sharp mind and extensive experience. While the two officers have different working styles, they share common values and work well together. During an ambush by thugs that results in heavy police casualties, Chun-sum chooses to remain with OCTB and set aside his dream of joining SDU. Chun-sum and Wai-lik then face a series of complex and challenging cases that are intricate, covert, and difficult to solve. They employ unconventional thinking, psychological game theory, and detailed analysis to understand the criminals' minds and uncover their motives. Ultimately, no criminal evades justice.
