The *AKB48* drama is divided into three parts, each focusing on a different team. In Team A's story, Kawakami Fukaba is the last remaining member of the Broadcasting Club. While cleaning the clubroom, she discovers a strange cassette player that links her to another club member from eight years prior. In Team K's storyline, Miho is frustrated by her younger sister Tsubasa, who is pressuring her to join a piano competition. Unbeknownst to Miho, Tsubasa is concealing a secret from her. Team B's plot follows Asuka, who runs a blog titled "Tsuki ga nai Sora" (Moonless Sky), where she documents her personal struggles. The only commenter on her blog is a user named Spaceboy (6B6), who appears to have an uncanny knowledge of Asuka's life.
