Sonnigsburg is a mysterious town said to be hidden in the woods and untouched for seventy years, according to local legend. Located near the town of Mount Sunshine, it is there that the story's main character, Savannah, makes a stop on her journey to investigate Sonnigsburg. Savannah is contacted by her ex, Jade, who reaches out unexpectedly after eight years of separation and pleads for help. As Savannah arrives in Mount Sunshine and her past begins to resurface, the town's history starts to emerge, revealing that its residents are each burdened by their own haunting secrets.
