Teenage photographer Peter Parker is assigned by the Daily Bugle to investigate mysterious lights in a remote forest. While en route, he loses control of his car due to a landslide, crashing into a tree.

Peter Parker, en route to visit the genius scientist Doctor Smartyr, witnesses the bizarre phenomenon of the sidewalk and surrounding area freezing over. Upon hearing cries for help from Smartyr's lab, Peter dons his Spider-Man suit and enters to find the scientist in danger from a massive ice-based antagonist.
