Strisser på Samsø
*Strisser på Samsø* is a Danish television series consisting of 12 episodes, written and directed by Eddie Thomas Petersen. Produced by Per Holst Filmproduktion, it was first broadcast on TV2 between 1997 and 1998. The plot follows Christian Torp, a police officer who has lost his wife in a botched robbery, as he brings his daughter Sille to the Danish island of Samsø in search of peace and quiet. They struggle to integrate into a close-knit community marked by various problems, where everyone seems to know everything about each other, but they find a friend in Ulla, a secretary. The series features Lars Bom, Amalie Dollerup, and Jesper Milsted among its cast. It was broadcast under the title *Island Cop* in subtitled form on Ireland's TG4 channel.
