Sydney to the Max
Thirteen-year-old Sydney is eager to embrace the freedoms of growing up, even as her doting and overprotective father, Max, tries to shield her from the challenges of adolescence. As Sydney pushes for greater independence, Max resists, striving to keep her close and preserve her childhood. Meanwhile, Max's mother, Judy, observes the situation and is reminded of Max's own rebellious behavior at Sydney's age. The film draws humorous and revealing parallels between past and present through lighthearted flashbacks featuring a younger version of Max.
