Synopsis
Charlie Mackenzie, a struggling reporter, meets a woman at a bar who helps him regain his job, but his editor demands a murder story to keep it. After witnessing what he believes to be a murder at a Greek diner, Charlie investigates and discovers the victim is his own girlfriend, Vicky. In a shocking turn, he kills her to ensure the story is credible, leading to his institutionalization.
