Team Antonsen

Team Antonsen was a Norwegian sketch comedy television program that aired in spring 2004 on the Norwegian state channel NRK. The show featured four comedians: Atle Antonsen, Harald Eia, Bård Tufte Johansen, and Kristopher Schau, who performed a variety of sketches. The comedy often targeted spoken nynorsk and sami, as well as regional dialects from across Norway, particularly from Northern Norway and the cities of Bergen and Trondheim. The show frequently included appearances from celebrities, such as writer Anne Holt and singer Bertine Zetlitz. With an average of over 700,000 viewers, the show achieved high ratings for a late-night program in a country with a population of 4.6 million. The series also led to a stage show titled Team Antonsen Live: One Night Only, performed at Oslo Spektrum in May 2004. The comedians had originally planned for just one performance, but after tickets sold out, they added a second show called Team Antonsen Live: One More Night Only. Team Antonsen received several Norwegian comedy awards, including the 2004 Gullruten for best humor show, Komiprisen for best show, and the Komiprisen viewer's award for the sketch Hjemme hos Haakon Børde.
