The story takes place in an alternate world known as Geminar, where nations have been engaged in perpetual conflict using replica humanoid Seikishi weapons discovered in ancient ruins. Kenshi Masaki, a 15-year-old and the half-brother of the Tenchi Muyo! protagonist Tenchi Masaki, is summoned from another world to Geminar.
