Nino Scotellaro is a Sicilian public prosecutor who has spent his life combating the mafia. When he is suddenly accused of being a member of the very criminal organization he has long opposed, he faces a dramatic reversal of fortune. After being convicted, Nino, now with nothing to lose, devises a cunning and calculated plan for revenge.
