Synopsis
Juan returns to Italy after a successful campaign in Spain but faces defeat in his attempt to capture the Sforza castle. Lucrezia Borgia thwarts a marriage arrangement with a wealthy Genovese merchant, and Girolamo Savonarola's followers carry out the "Bonfire of the Vanities," destroying luxury goods in Florence.
