The Bounder is a British sitcom that aired from 16 April 1982 to 28 October 1983, produced by Yorkshire Television. The series stars Peter Bowles as Howard Booth, a former convict who spent two years in prison. He lives with his brother-in-law, Trevor Mountjoy, and his wife, Mary Rosalind Ayres, who left the series after the first series in 1982. Isla Blair also stars as Laura Miles, the widowed neighbor living next door. The series was created by Eric Chappell.
