The Colony is a reality television series produced by the Discovery Channel. The show documents a group of people attempting to survive in a simulated post-apocalyptic setting. Casting for the series was handled by Metal Flowers Media. The first season featured 10 main cast members, along with nearly 100 actors who contributed to the show through scripted and improvisational performances.
