The Detective Is Already Dead

Kimizuka Kimihiko is prone to finding himself in the middle of crises. When a routine flight unexpectedly turns into an emergency requiring a detective's presence, his attempt to stay out of trouble is thwarted by a silver-haired girl who introduces herself as Siesta, a self-proclaimed detective. She forcibly recruits Kimizuka as her assistant, marking the start of a worldwide adventure far beyond his expectations. Over the course of three years, the pair risked their lives to dismantle criminal organizations, avert disasters, and save countless lives. Their journey, however, ended with Siesta's sudden death. Determined to live a normal high school life, Kimizuka tries to remain inconspicuous for a year. But fate intervenes once more when a girl resembling Siesta enters his life, threatening to disrupt his newfound peace.
