The Hillside Strangler
In the 1970s, a serial killer terrorizes Los Angeles, leaving victims' bodies on display across the Hollywood Hillside. In 1979, Kenneth Bianchi is arrested in Bellingham, Washington, in connection with a double homicide, prompting Los Angeles investigators to link him to the killings they had labeled "The Hillside Strangler." However, Bianchi asserts in a series of recorded interviews with psychologists and psychiatrists that he is not the killer, claiming instead that a separate personality within him, named "Steve," is responsible for the crimes.
