After his wife's death, Shigeki has raised his daughter Ema alone. Ema is now a high school student. Like many father-daughter relationships, they occasionally argue but remain dependent on each other. One night, Ema fails to return from her part-time job. Her body is later discovered. Shigeki is overwhelmed by grief. A few days later, he receives a phone call in which the caller provides the name and address of the man who killed his daughter. After some hesitation, Shigeki goes to the apartment given to him. There, he finds a video showing the brutal murder of Ema. He then confronts Atsuya, who has just returned home. Shigeki kills Atsuya. The media quickly covers the incident, sparking public debate over Shigeki's actions. Shigeki then pursues the main culprit, Kaiji.

Every stage matters — pitch decks and treatments from development, location scouts and table-reads from pre-production, set photos and crew anecdotes from production, edit-bay notes from post, and press kits, festival memories, or marketing ephemera from distribution. Any moment that didn't make the press tour, any document or photograph that's been sitting in a box — please share it so it's not lost to time.
We particularly welcome contributions from writers, producers, cast, crew, festival programmers, distributors, marketing teams, their families, and anyone who was there at any stage.
