Robert Durst, a member of one of New York’s prominent billionaire real estate families, has faced accusations of three murders but has never been convicted. Known for his intelligence, reclusiveness, and the intense media attention he has received, Durst has never spoken publicly—until recently. During interviews with Andrew Jarecki, he disclosed previously unknown details about a case that had perplexed authorities for three decades. In 2010, Jarecki produced the narrative film *All Good Things*, which was based on the well-known story of Robert Durst. After viewing the film, Durst reached out to Jarecki, expressing a desire to share his side of the story. What was initially conceived as a feature documentary eventually expanded into a six-part series as further revelations about Durst’s complex and shocking history emerged.
