Synopsis
A subway explosion overwhelms The Knick with patients, straining its resources and profits. Meanwhile, Lucy seeks advice from one of Ping Wu's women as she evades Henry, Thackery finds an ideal test case for his addiction theory in a suffering addict, and Bertie shares his adrenalin research with Zinberg. Cornelia uncovers a new lead in the investigation into Speight's death, while Barrow quietly repays a debt without recognition, Genevieve gains favor with the Chickerings, and Harriet becomes an outcast in her boarding house.
