The Last Cop
In 1985, detective Kyogoku Kosuke (played by Karasawa Toshiaki) was pursuing a group of criminals when he was caught in an explosion and fell into a coma. Thirty years later, in 2015, Kosuke awakens to find himself needing to adjust to a rapidly changed world, including new social values, advanced technology, and personal and professional developments he missed. Returning to the Criminal Division, Kosuke is paired with his new partner Ryota (played by Kubota Masataka). Together, they are assigned to investigate classified security data related to a terrorist group known as Schiesser.
