The Millionaire Detective – Balance: UNLIMITED
The story follows Daisuke Kambe, a millionaire and heir to one of Japan's wealthiest families, who is assigned to the Modern Crime Prevention Task Force (MCPTF) at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Utilizing his considerable family resources, Kambe invests heavily in solving intricate crimes, often assessing situations—including human lives—through a financial lens. His partner, Haru Kato, is a detective who values compassion and believes that money does not define everything, and he is unsettled by Kambe's materialistic outlook. Despite their contrasting personalities, the two work together to address complex and seemingly impossible crimes and mysteries.
