The North Water
Henry Drax is a harpooner and brutal killer whose moral compass has been shaped by the harshness of his environment. He joins a whaling expedition to the Arctic aboard the same ship as Patrick Sumner, a disgraced former army surgeon who has signed on as the ship’s doctor. Seeking to escape the trauma of his past, Sumner finds himself trapped in a doomed voyage with a violent psychopath. As he strives for redemption, his journey becomes a brutal fight for survival in the unforgiving Arctic wilderness.
