Late at night, Ralph shares his concerns with Terry about perplexing physical evidence in the case. A sudden tragedy adds complexity to the investigation. At the same time, Glory tries to comfort her daughter through the ongoing turmoil.

Ralph and Detective Yunis Sablo seek advice from Alec and Howie on hiring the unconventional private investigator Holly Gibney to assist with their stalled case. At the same time, Jack experiences a terrifying incident at a secluded barn, and Glory deals with complications at her daughters' school.
