The Professionals
The series follows the lives of Bodie and Doyle, elite agents working for Britain's CI5 (Criminal Intelligence 5), under the leadership of their controller, George Cowley. CI5's mission is to combat terrorism and other high-profile criminal activities. Cowley, a tough former MI5 operative, personally selects each of his agents. Bodie is a cynical former SAS paratrooper and mercenary known for his calculated use of violence, while his partner, Doyle, joins CI5 from the regular police force and brings a more open-minded and liberal perspective. Their working relationship is frequently strained, but they remain the top operatives in their field, consistently assigned by Cowley to the most challenging cases.
