Emma and Norman embark on a mission to return a lost toy to an adopted orphan, which leads them to uncover a disturbing secret regarding the true nature of Grace Field House.

Emma and Norman begin planning a way to leave the House, becoming more cautious of Isabella's behavior as they work out their escape.

Krone joins Isabella in overseeing the children at the House but begins pursuing her own mysterious goals. Meanwhile, Emma, Norman, and Ray start secretly training the children in an effort to help them escape.

Emma, Norman, and Ray become suspicious that one of the children is leaking information to Isabella and decide to confide in Don and Gilda about the House's secret, while remaining cautious that the traitor may be one of them.

Norman discovers Ray's betrayal and his position as an informant for Isabella, resulting in a tense confrontation about his actual loyalties.

As Emma shares a significant discovery with Norman and Ray just before they depart the House, Don and Gilda investigate Isabella’s concealed room in hopes of uncovering clues.

Krone discovers which children are aware of the House's secret and, rather than revealing this to Isabella, proposes forming an alliance with Norman, Emma, and the others to accomplish their individual goals.

Krone departs the House after receiving a letter from Grace Field headquarters. At the same time, Emma and Norman examine the wall surrounding the House, while Ray attempts to distract Isabella.

After Emma temporarily withdraws from pushing forward their escape, the group discovers that the shipment date has been moved up, which means someone will be sent away before Ray.

Emma is struck by another loss when a close ally and friend is taken from her, pushing her to the brink of despair just as her mother arrives to visit her in the infirmary.

Ray and Emma have been separated for nearly two months while they wait for Ray's shipment to arrive. As their hope diminishes, Emma unexpectedly meets Ray in the library, rekindling their relationship.

As the pivotal night approaches, Emma and Norman continue to unsettle Ray with their growing presence. At the same time, Phil holds close to his mother, lost in thought about what words he might choose for the moment.

Emma and the children, having escaped the House, make their way to a location indicated by a pen given to them by Norman. During their journey, they encounter a fierce and wild demon that poses a serious threat to their progress.

The episode introduces Mujika and Sonju, demon-like figures who claim to have rescued the children and follow a religion that forbids the consumption of humans. Emma and Ray discreetly visit Sonju to investigate what occurred to humans three decades earlier while the others are asleep.

Emma and the group undergo survival training led by Mujika and Sonju. Later, the children travel through a desolate wasteland in search of a location known as "B06-32."

Emma is surprised by an unexpected phone call at the shelter, which she answers, identifying the caller as William Minerva. Concurrently, an important agreement is reached in a secret underground chamber located on the farm.

Emma and the other escapees survive the attack on the shelter and take refuge in an abandoned temple near a demon-infested town. With limited food supplies, they struggle to survive in a harsher environment than the shelter or Grace Field House.

Norman, who had been presumed to have been sent away, unexpectedly returns and reunites with Emma and Ray in an emotional moment. He expresses his vision for a future in which the children can live happily, a vision that aligns with Emma's own hopes.

Emma tries to convince Norman that she has no intention of destroying the demons, but he remains resolute in his decision. To find a resolution, she suggests making a deal.

Norman begins coughing blood, indicating that he was indeed subjected to experiments during his time at Lambda. As his condition worsens and his time grows short, he makes an effort to reconnect with Emma and works to secure a peaceful future for her and the children.

Norman proceeds with his plan without Emma's participation. When Emma arrives with Ray and Sonju, Norman hesitates before killing Vylk and the grandchild, informing them that the plan is already in motion.

Vincent reveals his plan to infiltrate the farm, causing Peter to modify the security arrangements in preparation for a potential assault. Meanwhile, a group of children is being moved from the house, as Phil arrives at the farm's entrance.

Emma invites Peter to join her in seeking freedom, and though he appears composed, he understands what his choice entails. The children reach the gate that will lead them to the human world, where their escape may finally be possible.
