The Rolling Girls
Set in a dystopian future where Japan's political structure has collapsed following the Great Tokyo War, the country is divided into ten independent nations, each ruled by a gang led by a "Best"—a human-proclaimed prophet possessing destructive superpowers. Nozomi Moritomo, a "Rest" or ordinary girl, is a rookie in her local gang and aspires to support Masami Utoku, her childhood friend and role model, in the ongoing territorial conflicts. When Masami is gravely injured and rendered unable to fight, Nozomi takes it upon herself to complete the requests he has received from across Japan. During her journey, she meets Yukina Kosaka, a shy girl with a poor sense of direction; Ai Hibiki, an energetic girl with a love for food; and Chiaya Misono, a quiet and enigmatic girl who always wears a gas mask. The four girls travel together on motorcycles, navigating territorial disputes, conflicts, and strange conspiracies throughout the country.
