The Time Traveler's Wife

Clare has had an imaginary friend since childhood — a friendly, ever-changing figure who visits her in the woods and shares stories about what is to come.

Clare tries to reconcile the 28-year-old Henry with the man she once knew, and Henry takes her to a pivotal moment from his childhood to help her understand his journey.

Clare, who met her soulmate Henry at age six, reflects on a life shaped by his sporadic presence. A troubling event at a high school party forces a troubled teenage Clare to seek his guidance once again.

Clare organizes a dinner party to introduce her boyfriend Henry to her roommate Charisse and friend Gomez, but the event is disrupted by another Henry and his girlfriend Ingrid, leading to the exposure of long-buried secrets. At the same time, Clare is focused on making her 18th birthday and what she believes is her final meeting with Henry in the clearing a memorable occasion.

Henry takes a meaningful journey to visit Clare's childhood home, marking the first time he ventures there despite their long time together in the clearing.

With his wedding to Clare fast approaching, Henry struggles with rising anxiety, finding unexpected comfort and connection in reconnecting with his long-estranged father.
