The Top Secret Life of Edgar Briggs
The Top Secret Life of Edgar Briggs was a 30-minute British television comedy series created by Bernard McKenna and Richard Laing, and produced by Humphrey Barclay for LWT. It aired on the ITV network from 15 September to 20 December 1974. The show starred David Jason as Edgar Briggs, an inept personal assistant to the Commander of the British Secret Intelligence Service, who, despite his lack of competence, manages to solve case after case. The series has been compared to the earlier American series Get Smart.
