A character-driven comedy centered on a family of schemers who are short on money but rich in determination, they go to great lengths to get by. The family operates a catering business and dabbles in a few side ventures. Peggy is the matriarch, with her son Glyn acting as the second-in-command. Glyn's children, Billy and Bobby, are constantly finding themselves in trouble, while Bobby's ex-wife, Natalie, lives next door with Shaks, a young girl prone to causing chaos.
