Synopsis
Stefan and Damon reflect on past events involving their father and others that led to a major conflict between them. Meanwhile, Bonnie's date with Ben becomes unsettling, and Stefan, with Elena's help, searches for a missing ancestral journal while uncovering Alaric's motivations. Damon also learns that a former associate has returned with a hidden purpose.
