The Venture Bros. is an American adult animated action-adventure television series created by Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer for Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block. The series premiered on August 7, 2004, following a pilot episode that aired on February 16, 2003. It is known for its satirical take on superhero tropes and espionage themes, blending action, comedy, and science fiction elements. The show follows the misadventures of the Venture family, particularly the two young brothers, as they navigate a chaotic world filled with eccentric villains, secret agents, and bizarre scientific experiments. Over the course of its run, The Venture Bros. became one of Adult Swim's longest-running original series, with seven seasons produced over a span of fifteen years.
