The Voronins
The main characters of the series are an ordinary family. The family consists of Kostya, a sports journalist, his wife Vera, a housewife, and their children: Masha and the twins Philip and Kirill. On the same landing as the Voronin family's apartment, Kostya's parents live: Galina Ivanovna, a housewife and the mother of Kostya and Lyonya, as well as Vera's mother-in-law; Nikolai Petrovich, Kostya's and Lyonya's father and Vera's father-in-law; and Lyonya, a police major and Kostya's older brother.
