The Yellow Rose is an American television series that aired on NBC during the 1983–1984 season. Produced by Paul Freeman, the show was influenced in part by the more daring aspects of the soap opera Dallas, focusing on the dramatic and political maneuverings of the Champion family, a powerful ranch-owning clan based in Texas. The cast featured Sam Elliott, David Soul, Edward Albert, Cybill Shepherd, Chuck Connors, Noah Beery, Jr., Ken Curtis, Robin Wright, and Jane Russell. The series was canceled after one season consisting of twenty-two episodes. In the summer of 1990, it was rerun on NBC alongside the short-lived Bret Maverick, which starred James Garner.
