The Youth Memories
Set in Beijing during the 1970s, this drama follows the lives of a group of young people as they grow up, pursue their dreams, and face the challenges of life. The male protagonist experiences significant events alongside his friends, including taking the college entrance examination, starting businesses, going abroad, and entering politics. Throughout these experiences, they remain supportive of one another and come to understand the value of perseverance. The female characters also navigate the highs and lows of their lives, with their fates closely connected. Through the development and transformation of these characters during the era of reform and opening up, the series illustrates the country's rapid progress, explores the themes of friendship and love, and promotes a positive, hardworking attitude.
