A nuclear power plant meltdown in Northern Spain resulted in a contaminated no-go zone and left a nearby provincial city and its residents in a state of shock and mourning. Three years later, as the city prepares for a commemoration ceremony, a mutilated body is discovered in a warehouse. Police inspector Hector Uria investigates the murder, leading him into the no-go zone and confronting his own past.
