Misumi Makoto, an ordinary high school student, is summoned to another world to become a Hero, but is instead banished to a desolate wasteland by a vengeful goddess. There, he meets Emma, an orc girl from the Highland tribe, and grows close to her. His bond with her is soon tested when he discovers she is destined to be sacrificed to the powerful dragon Shen.

Makoto forms an alliance with the powerful dragon Shin, who brings him to a hidden demiplane existing within her mist. There, with the help of Highland orcs, he begins to cultivate the fertile land, unaware of the growing threat outside the demiplane—the Black Spider of Disaster, driven mad by insatiable hunger, approaches their sanctuary.

Makoto unknowingly enters a contract with the Black Spider of Disaster while unconscious and, despite his confusion, assigns names to Shin and the spider. As various demihumans, including elder dwarves, settle in the demiplane, Makoto grows homesick for humans and travels to a human town, only to find armed humans waiting for him.

In Zetsuya, Makoto and his companions encounter Rinon, a girl searching for her missing sister. That night, they are attacked at an inn, and they discover Rinon's sister, Toa, is being held captive due to a debt. As tensions rise, Tomoe and Mio attempt a rescue, but they face a formidable opponent.

Makoto and Toa, along with other adventurers, journey to the town of Tsige, overcoming various monsters along the way. After a farewell celebration, Makoto learns a troubling rumor about the Rembrandt Trading Company, the client from his first job.

Makoto and his party take on a job with the Rembrandt Trading Company, having already gathered the needed materials, but face skepticism from the company's owner, who doubts Makoto's experience as an adventurer. Meanwhile, Makoto begins the process of joining the merchants' guild, which requires him to complete two challenging tests.

Makoto and Hazal attempt to create ambrosia in an effort to cure Rembrandt's family of a mysterious illness. After giving the medicine to the family and praying for their recovery, Makoto departs, only to be later ambushed by unknown assailants along with Tomoe and Mio.

After finishing a mission for Rembrandt, Makoto retreats to the demiplane, where he faces a new challenge: the warriors he trained, including Highland orcs and lizardmen, are losing confidence. To address this, Tomoe introduces the Demiplane Ranking, a series of one-on-one battles meant to restore their morale.

A celebration marks the founding of Kuzunoha Trading Company in the human town, giving Makoto a chance to bond with the demiplane's residents. While practicing archery, Makoto is interrupted by Tomoe and Mio, who arrive in a state of distress. Mio becomes emotional, and Tomoe makes a shocking revelation.

Makoto and Mio travel to Tinarak Forest to collect ambrosia flowers for the Kuzunoha Trading Company, but they are ambushed by the forest ogres Aqua and Eris, who guard the flowers. With Mio acting strangely and other adventurers complicating the situation, Makoto is nearly overwhelmed before Tomoe helps them escape. Their troubles continue when they arrive at the ogre village to negotiate.

An explosion occurs in the demiplane, causing Tomoe to collapse and prompting Makoto to investigate and treat the injured. He is shocked to discover that the explosion has harmed the demiplane's inhabitants, and a vision reveals the selfish actions behind the event. Makoto must now decide how to respond to this revelation.

Makoto is meant to leave for the academy, but is instead transported into a battle between hyumans and demons. He is attacked by Sofia Bulga, a powerful hyuman adventurer, and the greater dragon Mitsurugi, who mistake him for a disciple of the goddess. In a desperate situation, Makoto uses all his remaining strength to activate his magic.

Mikoto and Shiki travel to Rotsgard Academy to establish a new shop, while their companions in the demiplane assist Mio in improving her cooking through frequent taste tests.

One of Makoto Misumi's classmates on Earth experiences a mysterious encounter with a goddess associated with an alternate world, leading her and another individual to be chosen as heroes to aid humanity in its battle against demons in that realm.

Hibiki and Tomoki lead their respective groups in preparation for an assault on Fort Stella, a mission that had previously involved Makoto unwillingly. Despite their shared goal, the stark differences between Hibiki and Tomoki create additional obstacles beyond the threat posed by the demons.

Makoto arrives in Rotsgard, only to discover he has been mistakenly registered for a teacher's exam rather than a student's. Along the way, he encounters several arrogant students from the school.

Makoto begins preparing his course and determining the number of students for his position at Rotsgard Academy, aiming to teach them advanced applications of elemental magic. However, his initial class is skeptical, believing such expansion of magical abilities to be unattainable.

Makoto successfully opens his new shop in Rotsgard, though he struggles to attract staff away from the more established Tsige. Later, a conversation with Eva about societal views on marriage leaves him unsettled.

Makoto visits his newly built house in the demiplane, only to discover that the weather has become unusually hot, possibly due to an unintended consequence of his presence.

Makoto enjoys a productive and entertaining time in the demiplane before returning to Rotsgard with Shiki. At Rotsgard Academy, Shifu and Yuno Rembrandt return to classes and join a lecture along with the new transfer student, Karen Force.

Lime investigates secret human experiments in Rotsgard and is captured alongside Eva by an underground organization. They later escape and reunite with Shin and the rest of the group.

With the aid of demon general Rona, Shin and his allies launch a major operation against an underground organization. They uncover that the organization's leader is Bright, a respected instructor at Rotsgard Academy, whose ruthless tactics provoke anger from Makoto.

During summer vacation at Rotsgard Academy, Makoto engages in various tasks and studies magic. He is unexpectedly chosen to face the undefeated wingkin in a mock battle, preparing himself for the formidable challenge ahead.

As summer draws to a close, highland orcs encounter an unexpected attack from wolves and bears while exploring the woods. Concerned by the news, Makoto ventures into the forest to mediate a peaceful resolution, but his efforts are complicated when the bear he encounters reacts with aggression.

As the academy festival nears, Shinai, a temple priest, urgently meets with Makoto to discuss troubling rumors about the medicine sold at his shop. He proposes a plan to help Makoto clear his name and restore trust.

Makoto attends a festival luncheon and is approached by Sairitsu, a representative of the Laurel Commonwealth, who becomes suspicious that Makoto may be from another world due to unfamiliar characters on the Kuzunoha Trading Company's sign.

During the school festival's combat tournament, students compete in an individual battle due to a scheme by a nobleman, leading to clashes among peers. Jin progresses to the final round, where he confronts Ilumgand Hopleys.

After the events involving Zara, Makoto chooses to align with the demons and, following the tournament, departs from Rotsgard. Meanwhile, Jin and his team reach the finals of their competition, where they are set to battle a team led by Ilumgand.

Jin and Abelia attempt to stop Ilumgand, who has been transformed into a powerful monster, but find their attacks ineffective against his overwhelming strength, leading to their loss of energy and will to fight.

The city of Rotsgard remains in chaos as a wave of mutants emerges, prompting Jin and his allies to take action. At the same time, Mio, tasked with guarding the shelter, notices an unusual odor emanating from Makoto during her assignment.

The crisis involving mutants continues to escalate, with new transformations occurring among evacuees and tensions rising at the shelter. In an effort to address the growing instability, Misumi and her team join the official mutant subjugation force.

With the mutant disturbance serving as a distraction, the demon army moves against the Kingdom of Limia and the Empire of Gritonia. The hyuman forces attempt to stop them but are swiftly overwhelmed by the sheer numbers and strength of the invaders, leaving both nations on the brink of collapse.

Tomoe, Mio, and others from the demiplane are tasked by Makoto with reclaiming Kaleneon and venture into enemy territory. At the same time, Tomoki and his companions travel to the front lines in the Gritonia Empire, where they meet Sofia, who opposes their advance.

Makoto is surprised to discover that the warrior he encounters in battle is Hibiki Otonashi, his high school senior. Struggling with the revelation, he engages in a confrontation with Io, proposing that the demons withdraw to prevent an unnecessary fight.

Sofia interrupts the battle between Makoto and Io, eager for a rematch. She immediately attacks Makoto with intensity, but Makoto remains calm despite the odds.

Shiki and Mitsurugi clash in a brutal duel outside Limia's royal castle, while Makoto and Sofia face off inside. Struggling against Makoto, Sofia resorts to using her hidden weapon.

Following the battle in Limia, Makoto is greeted by Tomoe, Mio, and the demiplane's inhabitants before returning to Rotsgard to eliminate the remaining mutants and bring an end to the ongoing conflict.

In this episode, the main characters face unexpected challenges that test their relationships and force them to make difficult decisions. As tensions rise, long-held secrets begin to surface, complicating their efforts to move forward. Meanwhile, a new character arrives, bringing both hope and uncertainty to the group.
