Curious about his uncle’s past, Wu Xie watches a mysterious video tape, only to become entangled in an elaborate conspiracy. During his investigation, he meets Zhang Qi Ling, Xie Yu Chen, and others. The six individuals, each with different motives, decide to join forces. Zhang Qi Ling accidentally loses his memory, and the group discovers that the Zhang family’s old manor may hold the answers they seek. However, their progress is halted by Qiu De Kao’s forces. Later, with the help of an ancient Lei family blueprint, Wu Xie meets Madam Huo of the Jiumen Sect. Following her advice, the group embarks on a tomb raid that the Jiumen Sect had previously attempted in search of the truth. Unfortunately, Wu Xie is severely injured during the journey, and Zhang Qi Ling goes missing, leaving the mystery unresolved. Xie Yu Chen later suggests that Wu Xie disguise himself as his uncle, though Wu Xie is hesitant.
