It is another winter. Cheng Man, the sister of Cheng Shu, a prominent figure in the venture capital industry, was in Shanghai and planning to take her daughter to Sanya for the New Year. However, a series of events led her to return to her hometown in Dongbei. Kong Lingqi, the founder of a company seeking to secure corporate financing, followed Cheng Man to Dongbei in an attempt to persuade her. After several developments, the two eventually resolved their misunderstandings. Cheng Shu's homestay in their Dongbei hometown is on the verge of bankruptcy, and an unexpected large order arrives from her ex-boyfriend, Wei Qi. Liao Ran, who aspires to become a Michelin-starred chef, is recruited by Cheng Shu to help manage the situation. The three of them experience further emotional complications as events unfold. Their niece, Cheng Miao, who is about to graduate from university, also returns home for the Chinese New Year.
