Veneno

In 2006 in Valencia, journalism student Valeria meets her idol, Cristina "La Veneno," which leads to the beginning of a friendship. Through this relationship, Cristina shares details of her complex past with her best friend, Paca. As Valeria records their stories, what initially began as a school project slowly transforms into the basis for a book.

Cristina becomes the central figure in Valeria's book, sharing the dramatic story of her life, including her childhood in Adra under the name "Joselito." As Valeria investigates Cristina's past, difficult memories of abuse emerge, prompting Valeria to reflect on her own experiences and consider coming out to her family.

Cristina narrates her life in Marbella after leaving Adra, detailing the experiences that influenced her, including forming new relationships and facing personal challenges. Through Cristina's stories and their shared adventures—such as clubbing in Torremolinos, participating in a dating show in Madrid, and an exciting encounter with Joselito—Valeria contemplates her own journey of self-discovery, transition, and the development of her sexuality.

Joselito, a transgender woman navigating life in 1990s Madrid, meets Cristina Onassis, who supports her transition and provides her with work as a sex worker. In present-day Madrid, a television appearance brings new and complex challenges to her life.

Cristina's rise to fame in the 1990s began with her debut on *Mississippi*, bringing her from West Park into the public eye. However, the pressures of stardom led to personal turmoil, including difficult encounters with her mother, a growing reliance on substances, and an abusive relationship with Angelo.

Cristina, dealing with the difficulties that follow her departure from television and increasingly affected by the influence of the manipulative Angelo, encounters mounting obstacles. At the same time, Valeria, whose career is advancing successfully in Seville, is urgently summoned back when Cristina's health begins to decline, with the completion of their book possibly offering Cristina a path to recovery.

In 2003, Cristina begins a prison sentence, enduring constant danger and harsh conditions. Years later, motivated by a desire to regain her former fame, she comes into conflict with Paca, while Valeria puts her life in Madrid on hold to focus on publishing their book.

Cristina falls into a coma following a serious accident, leading her family to arrive urgently in search of answers. As they seek clarification about her condition, Valeria concentrates on fulfilling Cristina's last wish.
