Synopsis
Louis falls seriously ill, and while it is claimed to be the result of a hunting accident, rumors swirl at court, especially after Philippe reveals to Rohan that he would become regent if Louis dies. As Louis's condition worsens and he wanders the palace in a delirious state, the queen and others begin making contingency plans, though Louis eventually recovers thanks to Claudine Masson, who becomes his physician. Fabien's spy network uncovers a conspiracy led by the Chevalier, leading to arrests, and Mademoiselle de Clermont is finally allowed to become a nun.
