Synopsis
Askeladd's men return to the Danish village of Gorm on the Jutland Peninsula with the treasure obtained from the Franks to spend the winter. Thorfinn challenges Askeladd to a duel, seeking reward for delivering the head of the Frankish captain. Though Thorfinn has improved his combat skills, he remains outmatched by Askeladd.
