We Were There
Nanami Takahashi is a high school student beginning her first year. On her first day, she becomes the target of a prank by Motoharu Yano, the school's most popular student, who coincidentally ends up in her class. Despite a difficult start, the two gradually develop feelings for each other and begin dating. However, their relationship is complicated by Yano's past, which includes the death of his former girlfriend, Nana Yamamoto, and the betrayal associated with her death. Matters become even more complex when Yano's younger sister, Yuri, joins the same class as Yano and Nanami. As Yano grapples with the lingering effects of Nana's death and his unresolved emotions, Nanami must also work to understand Yano if their relationship is to have a future.
