Weakest Beast
Shinkai Akira appears perfect on the surface but is drained by his constant pursuit of perfection. Nemoto Kousei is friendly and well-liked by women, yet he is distrustful and emotionally distant. The two, both unable to live naturally or instinctively, meet by chance at a craft beer bar after work and slowly grow close, eventually reaching a point where they argue and reveal their true feelings. Through their relationship, despite the pain they experience, they begin to embrace their true selves and take tentative steps forward.
