Suzuki Iruma, a kind-hearted boy who struggles to say no, is unexpectedly transported to the demon world and taken in by the powerful demon Sullivan, who makes him his grandson. To hide his true identity, Iruma enrolls at the prestigious Demon School Babyls, where Sullivan is the headmaster, and begins a challenging new life among demons.

Iruma, who has arrived at Babirusu, hopes to remain unnoticed by humans, but the entrance ceremony and an incident involving the entrance examination chief, Asmodeus Alice, draw attention from his classmates. Along with other first-year students, Iruma participates in the "Familiar Summoning Ceremony," an event that determines a devil's rank, led by the strict instructor Naverius Caluego. The story follows Iruma as he awaits the familiar he will summon.

Iruma and Asmodeus meet Valac Clara, an enigmatic and amiable girl whose unusual behavior draws the attention of their classmates. Some students begin to exploit her peculiar nature, prompting concern from Iruma and Asmodeus.

Iruma acquires the Gluttonous Feeder ring, a magical artifact that drains the power of others. During a class incident, the ring causes him to draw unwanted attention, complicating his efforts to remain unnoticed at school. Student council president Azazel Ameri, a demon, begins to suspect Iruma is human due to an unusual observation.

Ameri, who had bumped into Iruma in the hallway, is convinced that Iruma is human. She discovers he has a human-world shojo manga titled "First Love Memories," which is forbidden in the netherworld, and asks him to read it aloud to prove his humanity. This leads to Iruma and Ameri beginning live readings of the manga together.

Clara, feeling neglected by Iruma, enrolls in succubus charm lessons with teacher Raim to regain his attention. Despite her efforts, her attempts at seduction prove ineffective, leading her to continue her pursuit of winning Iruma back.

Iruma learns about an upcoming promotion exam involving a game called execution cannonball and recognizes it as similar to a human-world game. Determined to improve, he begins rigorous non-magical training with Opera to close the gap with his stronger classmates. The episode concludes with Iruma reaping the results of his hard work.

Sullivan is detained by the Demon Border Patrol for allegedly entering the human world illegally, yet he remains determined to attend the Battler Party and see Iruma-kun. Unaware of Sullivan's situation, Iruma prepares for his own Battler Party presentation, eventually deciding with his classmates to create human-style fireworks, leading to an overnight project at school that turns into a lively sleepover for the MagiApp Battler participants.

Iruma and his friends continue preparing for the Battler Party as the fireworks launchpad nears completion. While searching for Kiriwo, Iruma's ring mysteriously pulls him through Babyls until he discovers a hidden room where Kiriwo has been working on a secret project. The episode reveals who Kiriwo was speaking with on the phone and what Iruma uncovers in the concealed space.

Kiriwo dreams of a world where all demons are equal, regardless of their magical abilities, and Iruma supports this vision by suggesting they aim for the grand prize at the Battler Party to gain recognition. As the Battlers prepare for the event on Party Eve, the fireworks shell that Iruma and others had prepared goes mysteriously missing.

All of Babyls is suddenly encircled by mysterious invisible walls, cutting off communication with the outside world and causing widespread confusion. As the students take shelter in the central plaza under the guidance of the teachers, Iruma sets out with Asmodeus and Clara to search for the missing Kiriwo.

Kuromu-chan, a top idol in the netherworld, hosts a full-day concert at the Makubari Dome, where she helps demons cope with their Evil Cycle through her performances. Despite her rising fame and sold-out shows, Kuromu harbors a secret she keeps hidden. Iruma, fortunate to have secured tickets, brings Asmodeus and Clara along to the event.

Keroli, revealed to be Kuromu, grows jealous of Iruma's popularity and collapses during preparations for a concert at Makubari Dome. Unable to cancel the event for personal reasons, Iruma and his friends take unexpected steps to ensure the concert still goes on successfully.

Iruma begins to question whether he truly belongs in the netherworld despite growing accustomed to his new life. Concerned about his unease, Asmodeus and Clara attempt to cheer him by cooking, leading to a competition featuring Clara's mysterious family recipe.
