Wheel of Fortune
Lykkehjulet is the Danish adaptation of the Wheel of Fortune television game show. It premiered in 1988 and marked one of the first major American game shows to be imported to Denmark. It was also one of the first successes for Danish broadcaster TV2, which launched as Denmark's second TV channel in the same year. Initially, the show followed the "shopping" format of the American version, where contestants used their winnings to purchase studio prizes such as furniture, appliances, and trips. Later, the format was changed to align with the American version, offering all-cash prizes. The first season was hosted by Michael Meyerheim, with Pia Dresner serving as the letter-turning co-host. From 1989 to 2000, the show was hosted by Bengt Burg, with a brief hosting stint by Keld Heick during the 1996–1997 season. The final season in 2001 was hosted by Lars Herlow, with Carina Jensen and Maria Hirse as the letter-turning co-hosts. The announcers during the show's run were Ole Jacobsen, followed by Henrik Hannibal and later Dennis Johannesson. Lykkehjulet aired for a total of 3,599 episodes before being cancelled in 2001 due to declining viewership and a failed attempt to modernize the format in its final year.

Every stage matters — pitch decks and treatments from development, location scouts and table-reads from pre-production, set photos and crew anecdotes from production, edit-bay notes from post, and press kits, festival memories, or marketing ephemera from distribution. Any moment that didn't make the press tour, any document or photograph that's been sitting in a box — please share it so it's not lost to time.
We particularly welcome contributions from writers, producers, cast, crew, festival programmers, distributors, marketing teams, their families, and anyone who was there at any stage.
