Why I Dress Up for Love

Mashiba Karumi is a young woman with a passion for fashion and self-expression. She works as a public relations officer for the interior design company "el Arco Iris" and maintains a social media presence with nearly 100,000 followers, which she uses to promote her employer. She harbors quiet admiration for Hayama Shogo, the company's president, and aspires to become someone he deeply respects. After neglecting to renew her apartment lease, Karumi is unexpectedly evicted and moves into a shared residence in Omotesando, where she lives with four other tenants. As she adjusts to communal living, she begins to spend more time with Fujino Shun, one of the other residents, a chef who leads a modest and uncomplicated lifestyle in contrast to her own.
