Wolf's Rain

Kiba, a white wolf guided by the scent of lunar flowers, ventures into the city in search of paradise but is wounded and captured by human scientists. Meanwhile, Tsume leads a gang that preys on the nobility, and Cher and a team of scientists study Cheza, a mysterious flower maiden.

A young wolf named Toboe faces challenges surviving in the city but finds friendship with a human girl named Leara. Meanwhile, Kiba and Hige take the risk of being captured in human form to get closer to Cheza, while Darcia plots to abduct her.

Kiba and Hige witness Darcia kidnapping Cheza before she disappears. Cher recovers from her battle with Darcia, while Toboe attempts to reconcile with Leara, who has grown fearful of him. The group ultimately decides to leave the city together in search of a better place.

The four wolves journey through a desolate wasteland in search of a mythical paradise. Tsume abandons the group, convinced their quest is futile, and Toboe pursues him, encountering a deadly machine. Meanwhile, Cher decides to leave the city, leaving Hubb in charge of the mysterious "Book of the Moon.

The four wolves discover a dilapidated coastal city and encounter Zali and his pack, who have formed an uneasy alliance with humans for survival. Disgusted by this arrangement, they take issue with the pack's methods, though Hige is drawn to a female wolf among them.

Kiba remains injured after battling Zali's pack, while Hige and Toboe venture out to find food. Hige is captured by humans who intend to kill him, forcing the group to seek Zali's help for his rescue. Meanwhile, Hubb inquires about the "Book of the Moon" with Quent.

The wolves emerge from the tunnel and continue their quest for paradise. Cheza escapes from Darcia's airship and encounters the wolves, while Cher and a squad of soldiers begin a search for her.

Cheza and the wolves encounter an enigmatic old woman who shares the same striking eyes as Cheza. The woman warns them that traveling with the wolves will lead to disaster, as Cher's forces continue to pursue them.

The wolves continue evading Cher's soldiers in search of a way to leave the town, encountering Blue, Quent's dog, and learning from Cheza that Blue has some wolf heritage. Quent pursues the wolves and attempts to kill them once more, while Cher investigates the history of the House of Darcia.

The four wolves and Cheza flee into the "Forest of Death," where Cheza's condition worsens due to the absence of sunlight. They encounter a mysterious owl that guides them to a cave inhabited by large insects. At the same time, Quent is questioned by soldiers from the Cher retrieval squad, and Cher is taken prisoner by Darcia.

Lord Orhkam encounters a prophecy that predicts his death. Hubb continues his search for Cher while being detained and questioned by the police. At the same time, the four wolves and Cheza enjoy the full moon's light until they are interrupted by Darcia, who attempts to recapture Cheza.

Darcia returns to his keep to discover that Hamona has died at the hands of Jagura's forces. The group encounters Blue after rescuing her from attackers, though they remain uncertain about her reliability. Meanwhile, Hubb and Quent join forces and decide to travel together.

Hubb and Quent continue their journey, each seeking a loved one—Cher and Blue—until Hubb finds Cher in a new town. She urges them to go to Darcia's keep to prevent disaster. At the same time, the wolves set out for the same location to rescue Cheza.

Traveling through a severe blizzard, the wolves become separated when Kiba chooses to press on toward Darcia's keep while the others take shelter. Upon arriving, Kiba encounters Cheza and confronts Darcia, but their conflict is interrupted by an unexpected attack from Jagura's forces.

Tsume recounts past events, providing a retrospective look at earlier developments in the series.

The surviving wolves search for Kiba after escaping Darcia's destroyed fortress and encounter the Hmong tribe, who advocate harmony between humans and animals. Unbeknownst to them, Kiba awakens in what appears to be a peaceful paradise, where he meets a girl named Mew.

Kiba begins to suspect he is losing a crucial memory while trapped in the "Garden of Eternity." Tsume and Hige search for him, and Toboe contemplates remaining with the Hmong tribe.

Jaguara's forces engage in battle with the remaining troops of the late Lord Orkham, while a group of wolves is sent to locate Cheza at Jaguara's keep. Meanwhile, Hubb, Cher, Cheza, and Blue are held captive by Jaguara.

The wolves journey across a vast ice field toward Jaguara's fortress, where they encounter a massive walrus. Blue and Cher set out to rescue Cheza from Jaguara, while Quent becomes involved in a conflict among refugees and receives an ID tag.

The wolves reach the dome where Jaguara's keep is thought to be located. Kiba and Tsume search for an entrance while Hige and Toboe look for food, with Hige instinctively guiding them into the city. Meanwhile, Blue and Cher try to acquire ID tags, and Jaguara is informed that number twenty-three has returned.

Kiba and Tsume become separated as they travel toward Jaguara's keep, with Kiba encountering a group of the antagonist's soldiers. Hige struggles with lingering pain and growing suspicion about the numerous cameras monitoring him in the city. Blue and Cher visit a bookstore and obtain a map that may lead to Jaguara's stronghold.

Kiba locates Cheza and encounters Jaguara, who uses her Moonlight Crucible on him. Tsume is imprisoned and learns about a traitorous collared wolf from an elder. Hige reveals to Blue that his memories were fabricated and urges him to assist the others at Jaguara's keep, while Darcia attacks Jaguara's forces.

Tsume and Toboe escape during a citywide power outage caused by Jaguara's ritual and reunite with Hige, deciding to locate Kiba and stop Jaguara's plans. Blue reveals to Quent that wolves were not responsible for destroying his village. Meanwhile, Kiba escapes from Jaguara's device and works to prevent her apocalyptic scheme.
