Wonder Woman is an Amazonian princess who possesses the strength of Hercules, the wisdom of Athena, the speed of Mercury, and the beauty of Aphrodite. In 1940s America, she assumes the identity of Diana Prince, an assistant to Major Steve Trevor, a charming but often embroiled military officer. Equipped with a golden belt that grants her extraordinary strength, bullet-deflecting bracelets, a golden lasso that compels honesty, and an invisible supersonic plane, Wonder Woman fights against evil.
